On September 23rd, the day of atonement, I sowed a seed for 8 different areas in my life. 2 of them being increase and financial abundance. My past income only allowed my basic needs to be covered but I wanted more because I was simply existing but not truly living. Shortly after sowing that seed, I received two job offers in less than two weeks apart in the field I desired to work in and secured both position.

The first job, I sent them my resume on Friday October 16th at 1pm. By 5pm that same day, I got a response that asked if I could start the following Monday. On Monday October 26th around 3pm, the career advisor at my school sent my resume to another company that was looking for a designer and the franchise owner responded an hour later and and asked when I could interview. I interviewed the next day and started the second job on that Wednesday. Both positions work around my fulltime school schedule and my family and are literally 5 minutes from my campus.

Pastor said in one of his sermons that he doesn’t argue with people, that he has a prayer life… He can pray. And financially, he doesn’t have to beg… He can sow.

I believed that word and put it in action. I sowed and watched God bring provision to my household without providing a portfolio and all the other things designers present when interviewing for a job. They were blessings that brought no sorrow.
