Week 17: Established In Righteousness

2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV)- For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

The word established means to make stable or to begin or create something that is meant to last for a long time. It is usually associated with a person that is very prosperous in their particular line or work. Typically, this person has worked for many years, even decades, to reach the greatest height of their profession. As God’s chosen, you were established in righteousness through the gift of Jesus. This means that you were made to be a success without any effort on your part. 2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV) states, For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Righteousness is rightness in conformity with God’s will and order. In essence, the more you embrace your state of righteousness, the more situations you will conqueror.
The gift of righteousness allows you to accept the sacrifice that Jesus made for you. When He died on the cross, He selflessly dealt with all of your wrong doings so you could become more like God. His love, kindness, mercy and compassion will enable you to become stronger in your identity and cause you to walk with unqualified confidence.
Because you are righteous, you cannot be stopped. So, continue to think by grace and walk by faith in every area of your life. Remember, the word of God is true and He cannot lie. Continue to seek and spend time with Him as an investment of your love towards Him.
Today, acknowledge your righteousness and live free!
