Week 1: You Belong To God
Joshua 1:1-9 (NLT)- This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Have you ever been in a place where you felt forsaken? Maybe you placed your hopes and expectations in a spouse, friend, family member, or co-worker and they let you down. They key word in that sentence is “let.” As God’s chosen, you belong to Him and He will never let you down. Joshua 1:1-9 (NLT) states, This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. God wants you to build a strong foundation and rely on Him, not people. This is the greatest way to go past your limitations and see your breakthrough. How you start something is how He wants you to finish!
Because you belong to God, everything He has is yours, and vice versa. You have the right and the freedom to imitate and embrace His thoughts. As you increase your quality time with Him, along with your loyalty, you are sure to receive amazing results. The wisdom, understanding and knowledge you receive will elevate your joy in an enormous way.
God is your hope. So, you can eliminate the concept of all fear and remove yourself from all problems. Instead, focus and set your mind on remaining at peace. This will enable you to hear clearly from God so you can make the right decisions. As you continue to view your situation and circumstance through the eyes of faith, you will receive guidance. He loves you unconditionally and desires that you take His word literally.
God has everything you need!
