Week 10: The Pathway To Trust
Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)- Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
When people want to obtain something they desire, they often pursue it based on traditions, social trends, personal knowledge and previous experiences. Although in the beginning, the decisions made yield some results, it is short lived. As God’s chosen, He has a pathway to obtain everything you want through trusting Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)- Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. When you develop a posture of trusting God, you will only rely on His understanding and insight. Your confidence is sure to increase because you have finally begun to walk by faith and not by sight.
Trusting God allows you to have a peace that He will take care of you continuously. As you keep your mind centered on Him, He will give you the self-assurance that your breakthrough is close. The guidance of the Holy Spirit will cause you to willingly remain standing and fully obey God’s instructions. Your newfound joy is sure to birth new actions and new results.
God has a faster, bigger and better way to accomplish everything. So, do not allow fear to diminish your trust. Instead, continue to ask, seek and knock until you receive exactly what He promised you. Settle your belief that He loves you and He has a new life for you. Maintain the purity of your heart and strive to become solid, dependable and consistent.
