Week 2: The Journey Of Trust

Proverbs 3:7 (AMP)- Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil.

As teenagers, many rebelled against their parents’ rules. They just couldn’t see how those directives were going to benefit them. However, it didn’t take long for them to realize by experience how valuable those instructions were to their growth and development. As God’s chosen, He desires to take you on a journey of trust in which it requires that you live by faith and not by sight.  When you trust God over what you see, you place yourself in position to receive His rewards and blessings. Since He will never leave you, you can be confident that His grace is sufficient to handle everything in your life.

Trusting God is activated when you focus on what He said and believe Him with your whole heart. Because He knows what you will become, He trains you in the midst of your circumstances. As your trust matures, peace and joy will be present. Your confidence in following the Holy Spirit will greatly increase. The willingness on the inside of you to remain immovable will be evident.

On your journey of trust, remain diligent in the stability of your mind. Acknowledge God in all of your ways and allow Him to make your direction. Don’t allow people to show, give, tell or attack you with anything that can alter your trust. Instead, thank God continuously for showing you His way to your breakthrough.

Trust the journey and receive a new life!
